First, let’s discuss your manuscript and your goals to establish the level of editing you seek. We now offer full coordinated editing—from substantive and developmental editing to copyediting and proofreading—with a team of experienced editors. Coordinated edits are managed by the senior editor to provide consistency.

We firmly believe in an editing process in which manuscripts have a comprehensive substantive edit before moving to final-stage editing. This reflects our respect for our authors and our commitment to provide quality editing services.
We will send you a contract so we are in agreement on the basics before editing begins. We can then discuss scheduling, payment, and the editing start date for the specific project.
Please note we edit both American and British English, and we are open to discussing the particulars of your manuscript.
Our coordinated edits offer the opportunity for you to have more than one editor work on your manuscript and give you feedback. We understand that author budgets might not allow for all stages, and we will try to work with you on what you need.
The timeline for an edit depends on the length of the work and extent of the edit. Each edit will usually take between one to two weeks. We try to maintain flexibility to meet author needs, and we appreciate author flexibility as well. We will work with you to the best of our abilities to meet planned publication dates. Payment is required before each edit begins.
Editing is an involved process, but we try to maintain affordable rates because we believe quality editing should not be beyond reach, especially for authors with multiple projects. We want authors to succeed and to benefit most from their creative works.
